Sports Funding

Funding for the PE and Sport Premium 

Our school receives funding from the government through the PE and Sport Premium, which is designed to improve the quality of physical education (PE) and sport for all children. This funding is based on the number of pupils in Years 1 to 6 and is used to provide additional opportunities for pupils to be active, healthy, and engaged in sport.

The funding helps us to:

• Enhance the PE and sport activities we already offer

• Introduce new sports and activities for all pupils

• Train and support our staff so they feel confident teaching PE and sport

• Encourage all pupils to take part in regular physical activity

• Provide opportunities for pupils to compete in sports

Funding 

• Our school received £16,520 Sports Premium Funding.
• Schools must use the funding to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE and sport we offer.

PE and sport premium should be used to: 

• Develop or add to the PE and sport activities that your school already offers
• Build capacity and capability within the school to ensure that improvements made now will benefit pupils joining the school in future years.
