If you are interested in a place for your child at Checkendon School, please do contact the school as early as possible to arrange a visit, so that you can tour the school and discuss your child’s needs and your hopes for their future with the headteacher and other members of staff. We welcome all enquiries - throughout the school, even if you don't live in our catchment area.

Applications for entry to Checkendon School Reception Class for the academic year must be made through the Common Admissions Preference Form (CAPF) which is available from the Local Education Authority.

Children born from 1^st September to 31^st August will be offered full-time places in the Reception year from the start of the Autumn Term (in September).

Applications for entry to the current Reception Class and to Years 1 to 6 at Checkendon School should be made directly to the school. Please contact the school for further information and to arrange a visit. Then complete the transfer form on OCC website:
